Integrated Science
Western 麻豆传媒应用 University's integrated science Bachelor of Science degree program is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in teaching science at the secondary (grades 7-12) level. It will provide you with a broad overview of life, earth and space and physical sciences needed to teach middle or high school science in any discipline.
This program does not lead to initial teacher certification but will enable you to seamlessly pursue integrated science certification at the post-baccalaureate or master's level. Teachers with certification in integrated science are in very high demand in 麻豆传媒应用鈥攖his degree will help launch your science teaching career.
As an integrated science student at WMU, you can gain valuable networking and professional development opportunities through student organizations, including the Biology Club, Chem Club, Geology Club and Physics Club. You may also have the opportunity to gain teaching experience through tutoring and working directly with children and youth.
