Ms. Kent-Bracken is an honors advisor and longtime Bronco. Ms. Kent-Bracken graduated from WMU in 2014 with a bachelor's degree in history and minor in Spanish. She then completed her master's degree in history in 2017. During her time as an undergraduate and graduate student, she also served as a teaching and research assistant. Prior to joining the LHC team, Lucy was an academic advisor in the College of Health and Human Services at WMU.
Ms. Kent-Bracken's academic and research interests include American sport history, and how race, gender, ethnicity, and religion have shaped American culture and sport. Her graduate research pertained to sport governing agencies including FIFA and the IOC. Other academic interests include legal history, higher education, and anything related to the social sciences.
Away from campus, Ms. Kent-Bracken enjoys traveling and the great outdoors. Her hobbies include reading, kayaking, playing and coaching soccer, cooking new recipes, and spending time with her dog and cats! An avid sports fan, her favorite sports teams include the Green Bay Packers, Tottenham Hotspur, and of course, our WMU Broncos!
