Departments, centers and RSOs within the Haworth College of Business are welcome to promote their announcements and events on the digital displays throughout Schneider Hall. We have a few templates available to choose from below, which are shown on the displays in the classroom hallways on the first floor of Schneider Hall.

Announcement Template and Segmented Template: For announcements or general content, such as scholarship deadlines or congratulations, calls for research participation, special opportunities available, etc.

Event Template: For events that are specific to an academic area of interest. This may include RSO meetings or socials, department-hosted guest speakers or other special events.

Event Template_All Student Interest: For events that are of interest to all students, regardless of major, and University-wide announcements. This vertical template is shown on the displays in the lobby of Schneider Hall and is the only orientation available for content submitted by other University offices.

How to submit your digital sign

• Download a PowerPoint template available in this section. If you have your own design, you may overlay it on this template and adjust as needed, so that your content displays at the correct ratio and size.
• Update the text and photo as needed, while keeping the information short and simple. Your content will show for 10 seconds before moving on to the next slide.
• When finished, email the editable PowerPoint file to our administrative assistant, Rachael Bower, at rachael.i.bower@wmich.edu with the start and end date of your desired posting.
• Your file must be submitted by Thursday to be active the following week. You may submit content earlier and have it running for two weeks.

Use this customizable letterhead to create electronic letterhead for your program or department.

The Office of Alumni Relations and Marketing has a collection of high-quality photos taken by the University photographer for design needs. Please email Rachael Bower to request these photos, or to schedule a photo shoot for upcoming press or promotional materials.

The communications team can advise on video projects in terms of best practices, storyboarding and editing. Please contact us to meet about your video project.

Note: If you are using music in a video, you may want to consider using royalty-free music or purchasing stock music for your production. Use of many songs requires purchasing the rights to the music in order to share the work publicly as a part of your video and may be cost prohibitive. Contact the communications team if you have questions about music use in video productions.

Use these templates to promote your WMU Haworth event on social media. These are Adobe Illustrator files that can be edited within Illustrator or Canva. There are files for both posts and Stories that include the title, subtitle, date, time, location and a photo for the event. When adding a photo to either template, make sure to right-click the photo and choose 'send to back' so that it's formatted within the brown outline. 

In addition to a standard slide template, we also provide a special slide template for the display in 2150 Schneider Hall (Dean's Conference Room). Please use the Dean's Conference Room template if you will have a presentation there.
