Union-Management Safety Committee
The Union-Management Safety Committee (UMSC) has representatives from building custodial and support, dining, landscape, and maintenance services. The committee consists of AFSCME representatives and departmental managers. EHS conducts the meetings, follow-up with questions and concerns, and keeps the minutes. The purpose of the committee is to report and discuss unsafe conditions or activities, recommend corrective actions, and develop and communicate safety and health information.
The UMSC meets the second Tuesday of each month at 10:00 A.M. in the EWB lower level conference room.
