MLK Day Teach-in, "MLK's Blueprint for Justice"

Sponsored  by the Lewis Walker Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnic Relations, the free event includes three sessions that will run Monday, Jan. 20, from noon to 3:30 p.m. in the WMU Student Center Ballroom.

Political commentator and author Bakari Sellers, will speak at a free and open event on Monday, Jan. 20, at 6 p.m. in Miller Auditorium

Sellers entered Morehouse College at just 16 years old and became the youngest legislator in South Carolina history at age 22. Throughout his career, he has fought for diversity, equity and inclusion, while also using his platform to amplify important voices through his podcast, 鈥淭he Bakari Sellers Podcast.鈥 

In addition to his work as a CNN analyst and in his role at the Strom Law Firm, he is a two-time New York Times best-selling author. His works include a memoir, 鈥淢y Vanishing Country,鈥 and his children's book, 鈥淲ho Are Your People?鈥

Sellers offers valuable insights on today鈥檚 pressing social issues through his podcast, 鈥淭he Bakari Sellers Podcast,鈥 which airs twice a week on Ringer Podcast Network
