If you have completed a Western Â鶹´«Ã½Ó¦Óà University Department of Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology master’s degree in marriage, couple, and family counseling and are seeking licensure as a marriage and family therapist (LLMFT/LMFT) in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó¦ÓÃ, follow the steps below, as required by the , to apply for your license. 

1. Fill out and submit the appropriate licensing and application forms found at the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó¦Óà Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, . Please be sure to review the directions in their entirety.
2. Request an official transcript, through the Registrar's Office, be sent directly to Bureau of Professional Licensing at the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó¦Óà Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (as found in your application directions).
3. Complete your sections of the form titled  (please keep the form in PDF format). Once you complete your sections, submit through the link below. The Certification of Education form will be completed by a Western Â鶹´«Ã½Ó¦Óà University representative and submitted to the Bureau of Professional Licensing at the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó¦Óà Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. 

If you have completed a Western Â鶹´«Ã½Ó¦Óà University Department of Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology master’s degree and are seeking licensure as a licensed professional counselor (LLPC/LPC) in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó¦ÓÃ, follow the steps below, as required by the , to apply for your license. The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó¦Óà Board of Counseling no longer requires the Certification of Counseling Education form. To apply for your LLPC/LPC license, please follow application instructions outlined by the board (updated 9/29/2022).

1. Fill out and submit the appropriate licensing and application forms found at the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó¦Óà Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, . Please be sure to review the directions in their entirety.

2. Request an official transcript, through the Registrar's Office, be sent directly to Bureau of Professional Licensing at the Â鶹´«Ã½Ó¦Óà Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (as found in your application directions).
